Load test in SOAPUI pro vs Load Test in ReadyAPI(LoadUI Pro)

Hi,

I am doing some research on ReadyAPI (LoadUI) and SOAPUI Pro. We need to automate our Web Service test that will integrate with Jenkins. I think SoapUI is suitable for this purpose, but if we want to do some basic load tests, can we do it in SoapUI? According to my research, SoapUI can also do load testing. Can we also automate load testing in SoapUI pro? What exactly is the difference between SoapUI pro and ReadyAPI (LoadUI Pro)?

I could not fully understand what are the differences between the load test that can be done in SoapUI pro and the load tests that can be done in ready API (LoadUI).
Can we send 100 requests per second for a Webservice in SoapUI pro also?
Can SoapUI pro be used to perform both functional and load tests?
  • Thanks for your question!

You're right, there are certain things you can do with load tests in SoapUI OS that you can also do in ReadyAPI Performance (formerly known as LoadUI Pro). But there are some features that are exclusive to ReadyAPI Performance, like server monitoring and distributed load testing. The full breakdown of differences can be found in the table here:

    https://www.soapui.org/tools/readyapi/soapui-vs-readyapi/

I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any other questions.
