"Permission denied: connect" error in soapUI 4.5

After doing some succesfully testing in soapUI 4.0.1 I choosed to upgrade to soapUI 4.5.
When testing in soapUI 4.5 I gets this Java error with unchanged project, configuration and environment:

I can still do the same test succesfully in soapUI 4.0.1
I should mension that I use Cisco AnyConnect VPN 3.0.4235 as a way to VPN to my work network where the endpoint reside and that the error only shows up for soapUI 4.5.
I run Windows 7 32 bit. The Java version is 1.6.0_31

    Hi!

I would check the Windows Firewall settings. Maybe it's set to allow soapUI 4.0 but not 4.5?

    Hi
I have checked the Windows Firewall settings and both versions (4.0.1 and 4.5) are explicitly allowed to communicate through the Windows firewall

    Hi again
I have solved the problem now. The solution was to disable IPv6, which I did by adding -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true to the file
    c:\Program Files\SmartBear\soapUI-Pro-4.5.0\bin\soapUI-Pro-4.5.0.vmoptions.
I read about it another post http://a0www.soapui.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=12917&p=31524 where it was proposed for loadUI.
Is it the right way to do it for soapUI ?

    Regards
    John

    Hi,

Yes, that's the correct way. I'm glad you were able to solve the problem!
