Make sure you fully understand aqObject.CheckProperty method, and the parameters required.

Does your date control have a property called "text"? 

Is textboxDate the actual date control or property?

Your function name should include the word "Today".

If your function just consists of one line of code, there's no point in having a function. Keep the code simple.
