Risk on opening Port 1947 on Firewall

Hi Everyone, we will deployed our TestComplete floating license on a Remote Server and can be access the license through 1947 port. what are the risk of opening this port on our firewall? Is our license server is prone to some sort of internet attacts, malware etc?

    You shouldn't need to open a port at all in the first place... If the license server is on another network, you should open a tunnel between the two, and forward the port through the tunnel.
