Testcomplete integration with Borland Starteam?










I have been attempting to research how to integrate
testcomplete with Borland Starteam source control system; however, the
help content on this is not very helpful. It does not say what version
of starteam is supported, and does not provide details on how to setup
the connection between the two software packages.



Borland Starteam 2005



Any help is appreciated.

    Hi Michael,



    TestComplete integrates only with the source control systems that support MS SCC API (http://www.automatedqa.com/support/viewarticle/11011/). Thus, you should look whether StarTeam supports this API or look for some third-party product that enables other products (e.g. TestComplete) to communicate with StarTeam via MS SC API.

    That is the only article I've been able to find as well. It states:



    TestComplete supports all Microsoft Source Code Control API (MSSCCI) compatible source control systems, including:


    • Starbase Versions (StarTeam)


    So I'm wondering if our version of StarTeam is just too outdated to be supported?
